Now Living’s Beau Simpson is awarded Most Outstanding Brick & Blocklaying Apprentice
The future looks bright for BGC apprentice Beau Simpson who received the Most Outstanding Brick and Blocklaying Apprentice – Direct Indentured Award, at the Master Builders Association WA annual awards’ ceremony on Friday 4 November at the Perth Convention Centre.
Beau is a second year apprentice and a valuable member of the indigenous bricklaying team with Now Living, a BGC company.
BGC Residential Training and Development Manager Eric Durnthaler nominated Beau for the award.
“We’re delighted that Beau has received this award in recognition of his hard work and commitment to his apprenticeship,” Eric said.
“Beau has excelled at his apprenticeship under the leadership of Shane Ninyette, our Aboriginal Apprentice Team Leader, and we’ve always received positive feedback from his TAFE teachers and host trainers. This award is a great achievement for Beau and we look forward to supporting his future development.
“We’re also proud of BGC apprentices Nicholas Fleeton and Kristian Owens, who were also both finalists in the same award category.”
