PROJECT DELIVERY MANAGER

An exciting senior management position overseeing Now Living’s Design & Construct Housing Projects and our Project Management team.

We are looking for a Project Delivery Manager to lead our Project Management Department. The successful candidate will have strong experience in medium to large-scale Class 1 & Class 2 Residential, Design & Construct Developments.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, this Senior Management role will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the Project Management Department and overseeing all aspects of Now Living’s Projects from inception to completion, including; design, budgeting, cost analysis, planning, contracts, estimating, procurement, delivery & reporting, sales & marketing, through to settlement.

Some key responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:

  • Drive & facilitate the progress of all Projects to ensure targets are met.
  • Analyse performance data to measure Project performance vs. contractual obligations and stakeholder milestones.
  • Attend meetings with Project Partners and External Stake Holders.
  • Oversee the Project Management team in the preparation of Concept Designs, Project Estimates & Feasibilities for new projects.
  • Work with the Sales & Marketing Departments to develop, implement and monitor Sales & Marketing Plans for each project.
  • Liaise with other department heads to ensure Project targets and timeframes are met.

 Skills & Experience

The successful candidate will come with the following attributes:

  • Senior Management Experience
  • A strong knowledge of both Residential and Commercial Construction practices and procedures
  • Project Management experience within Residential Developments
  • Ability to facilitate working relationships with both Internal and External Stakeholders
  • Highly effective interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent time management skills whilst working with strict deadlines
  • Highly effective analytical and problem solving ability

This role would be ideal for a candidate with a strong working knowledge in Project Management and both Residential and Commercial Construction, who is looking to advance their career within Western Australia’s largest building group.

PROJECT MANAGER

Seeking Project Manager with experience in managing complete life cycle of residential development projects.

We are seeking a Project Manager who has strong experience in delivering medium to large-scale residential and mixed use developments, across both Class 1 and 2 buildings.

Reporting to the Business Development and Project Delivery Manager, this hands on operational role will be responsible for all aspects of the project from inception to completion.  You will be instrumental in managing all phases from design, planning, contracts, estimating, scheduling, procurement, delivery, sales & marketing, through to settlement.

Some key responsibilities for this role includes but not limited to:

  • Engagement and management of external service providers and technical consultants
  • Manage the design phase through internal teams and architects
  • Contract, variations, work in progress and costs management
  • Maintain strong working relationship with client, ensuring high client service
  • Liaising with all project stakeholders
  • Planning, resourcing, budgeting, forecasting, reporting
  • Oversee successful delivery of project ensuring client’s key objectives are realised by delivery team
  • Oversee sales and marketing of completed housing products

Skills & Experience

The successful candidate will come with the following attributes:

  • Strong project management experience within residential and mixed use development projects – Class 2 experience highly desirable.
  • Degree qualified in Project / Construction Management (preferred but not essential)
  • Strong contract management experience
  • Proven history of ability to facilitate strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Proven history of strong leadership and management capabilities
  • Effective interpersonal and conflict resolution skills including staff supervision
  • Excellent time management skills whilst working with strict deadlines
  • Effective analytical and problem solving ability

This role would be ideal for a degree-qualified candidate who has worked in a similar role within the large-scale property/land development and residential/mixed use construction sectors.
